Kyle Miller Memorial Inc. is the non-profit organization that runs the Kyle Miller College Showcase to raise money to give to others in need. The showcase is an opportunity for us to help girls get a scholarship and continue their playing careers in college as well as raise money for other things. During the showcase we give four $1000.00 scholarships, by random drawing, to help the girls that attend our showcase.
The Kyle Miller College Showcase is an event that gives the opportunity to showcase the talent of high school girls to college coaches. This is not an advancement tournament. There are no trophies awarded. The showcase is designed for all of the girls to have an opportunity to showcase their talent for college coaches. Wins and losses are not tracked. The success of our showcase is not measured on wins and losses it is measured on how many girls get the opportunity to continue their playing careers in college.
Each team will be scheduled for 4 games throughout the weekend. Most if not all teams will be playing 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday. Each game is 1 hour and 20 minutes long no matter how many innings you play. The games start and end with the sound of the horn. If you play seven innings before the horn sounds you will keep playing until the time slot is over. There will be a ten minute warm up period for each team to do infield/outfield practice. This is a request from many college coaches so that they are guaranteed the opportunity to see everyone field the ball.
